Winter MTB events from Dirtopia

RE:CM 100Miler & 50Miler 26 May � all entries close this week!
Only pre-entries accepted for these events and closing this Friday, 18 May. If you are out of town (for another MTB event or similar), please put in a special request to enter on Monday latest.
With the new title sponsor the event is getting a �face-lift�! Did you know that all finishers receive a RE:CM long sleeve T-shirt and a medal?

Breakfast stop & lunch stop have food, coffee & tea and there are 3 other refreshment stations with Powerade/Coke, oranges, bananas, sweets etc.
First stop supported by Enduren and Wilde Juice at the halfway mark with PVM also supporting the event. A lube station at the midway point and the sweep vehicle has mechanical support, but carry your own tools & supplies or let you support crew meet you at the next allowed waterpoint.

Four spectator points on route � go support the riders! Maps on http://www.amarider.co.za/ Please note the schedule with cut-off times etc on the website as well.

Registration extended: Thursday, 24 May from 16h00 & 19h00 at Chris Willemse cycles, and also Friday from 12h00 � 19h00 at Dirtopia Trail Centre, Delvera and 100Miler entrants from 06h00 at Swartland Cellars on raceday. 50Miler on Saturday from 07h30 at Delico, near Riebeeck Kasteel. Remember NO substitutions Sat morning.

Goodybags for all! 50Miler entrants � remember to book a shuttle from the finish to the start if you need it.
Prizemoney for top 5 men Overall winners and for the first Open Team (timing tag of 4th rider used). Product prizes for categories with 10 entrants or more. Winners attend at prizegiving 15h00.
Limebar with food & drink at the finish. Massages available as well.

Garden route events will give away a free Solo entry for the RE:CM200 (15-17 June, Knysna) to the 200th rider tagging in at the lunch stop!
Wellington Lions Club raises funds for their charities through the event by supplying the marshalling services and the event is also a fundraiser for the non-profit association, Amarider � al going back into the mountain biking!

Do you want more confidence when riding technical trails? Sara Muhl will help you improve with a 3 hour session on the singletrack trails at Delvera. Just started MTBing? This one is for you. Bikes are for rent at the Trail Centre if you don�t have your own yet. Very limited space left for this one.

Round one kicks off at Willowbridge, Durbanville. More riders per school, the more points earned to go the final! Only R40 entryfee and ages from under 10 to 18 years can take part. More info on the website.

Last month all the nightriders had lots of fun on the trails in the dark� Let us know if you want to rent lights from the Trail Centre! We�ll start at sunset 17h45 and you can choose between a 7km and a more technical 14.5km. Goody�s for all, drinks at the finish, luckydraw, permit for marked trails and results included for R50. You can enter on http://www.dirtopia.co.za/ already.

The mountain bike singletrack is real fun for the runners � come and see if you can improve your time.
Choose from 7km & 14.5km. Pre-entries get the goodybag � entries are open http://www.dirtopia.co.za/ We�ll start later for this einter event @ 09h30. Get your coffee from Caf� Pronto with registration.
Product prizes from Wilde Juice, Hi-Tec, Civvio, Falke for winners and in luckydraw!

15 July � WP Provincial at Delvera (other categories). Also a Sports Class so that everyone can join in!

9 June � Nine to Five team relay (get your teams together)

Did you know that you can ride singletrack for at least 45minutes when doing the black route on Delvera? The trail has been opened up last week, so come and enjoy! Experienced riders only for this route, but 7km for beginners and 15km for intermediates.
Trail Centre open every day for permits and merchandise at great prices!
Gear up and enjoy the colder months!
